I'm currently running MaxTrac 4" Spindles in the front and want to level out the rear. I have a SnugTop on order so I'm looking for something that will take me to about 2" to level out the stance. I need something that can handle a shell but I'm very worried about the reports of the Dakars squeeking. I'm not worried about the money, just the ride quality. Suggestions?

Deaver J66 springs and have it custom arched a little bit more to accompany the Snug Top.

The J66 by itself will have 1" of lift.

Pair with the shock of your choice ( I can get you King ) and you are good to go!

So I went over to Deaver and spoke with Scott. Upon showing him my truck, he suggested a 2"-2.5" setup that they are going to install on Monday. I'm confident that he will make any adjustments once I get my cap. I'm very glad I live so close to them.

I don't have a cap or any weight, but my J66's ride like a dream. I'm very happy with the way they ride compared to the 3-leaf progressive I had before.

Yeah, they couldn't have been more helpful. They are installing the U402 which has a bit higher load rating. Anything will be better than the block I have now.

    Working on it now....UNDER CONSTRUCTION
I have the Dakars and they are fantastic. I don't know why some complain about squeaking with the Dakars. I have 27000 miles on them now and no squeaks.

You are fortunate to have them close by! I'm curious to hear what you think of them when installed.

Turns out I'm being told my Bilstein 5100's won't work with a 2.5" lift in the rear. I'm now looking at changing my rears to something quite a bit more expensive to handle the larger lift. We'll see how this goes...

Just got back from Deaver. I had the U402's installed and it looks awesome. Best customer service. Highly recommended.

Great as far as I can tell. A bit stiffer than stock but that is to be expected. I'll have final thoughts when I get my Icon Resis and Coilover setup on Wednesday.

By the way, it only ended up giving about 2" of lift on my 2016 DCSB and factory tonneau cover. The lift is stated as 2.5" - 3". I don't mind so much as that sits my truck at almost perfect level (4/2). I just hope it doesn't "settle" any more.

Just talked to scott about the u402 springs while Passing through LA. Just wondering if you have any hub to fender #s by chance?

I have an access cab and fox coilover didn't give me as much lift as i had assumed/ hoped for. Concerned it might give me a tad too much lift. I do have a shell and constant weight though. Any measurements or info would be appreciated if you happen to have them on hand

I am measuring 24" from the center of the hub to fender. I got almost exactly 2" of lift. I would say you'd get a good 1/4-1/2" over me since you are running an access cab. My tonneau weighs 80LBS so it's not exactly light. What kind of lift do you have up front?

If you are answering my initial post then I've already had Deaver U402's installed. Thanks. I was confused as to what you were referring to.
