    Naval jelly from NAPA, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and a million other places is all the OP needs. It's nothing but phosphoric acid.

    I've never used that, but sounds like the same thing as Ospho. I've got some repairs I need to do myself so I'll give that a try!

    Take it to a paint shop that Guarantees their work. Unless you grind out all the rust it will continue under the paint.
