    i know, but it sucks - he has to either get a rental for who knows how long, or go car shopping and deal with the insurance co..... I know, small potatoes to what they could be dealing with.... so I'll shut up now.....

    Well they got out with out being hurt so that is good. Dodge has a known problem with their gear shift levers the chargers we have at work all have had to have column replacements one did twice. I do not recall what the issue is but it causes it to lock into drive or lock out from moving into park.

    Sue it's a pain in the ass either way you look at it. No matter what he has to do it's a shame and could have been avoided, understanding we all make mistakes I'm not without my share. Most importantly they're ok just to be able to go through the hassle

    I was thinking about something like that for my work truck because sometimes weird things or weird encounters happen. It's a good cya tool. I do have a small clip on cam but I don't pull it out unless I know things could go sideways, but a dash cam would catch the majority of my contacts.

    Could you tell what brand? I was just telling the wife tonight, that I am glad my truck got to Kansas City safe with no problems. from the looks of your picts -there are going to be many delayed orders at some dealerships.
