Hey all, for my first post on TW I'd like to ask a more technical question; but first, I'd like to say thanks to all of you guys who make this forum what it is because even though I am just now becoming a member, I have received countless pieces of information from here as a guest.
With all of that said, here's my question: I own a 1st Gen Tundra, but I am posting this in the 2nd Gen Tacoma thread because this is where everyone has likely had the most experience with the product. I'm looking to get a U Bolt flip kit because I am doing an add a leaf in the rear and a u bolt flip isn't that much more than new u bolts. I'm looking at the All Pro one just bease of price. Do you guys see a problem with this flip kit on a 1st Gen Tundra axle? I can't see any at all. My leafs are the same width as the Tacoma, the U Bolts are the same length as the 2nd Gen Tacoma, and my shock mounts aren't on the existing leaf plate, they're on the axle. Is there something here I'm not seeing that would make the kit not compatable? I believe the only dimension on the axle that is different is the width(it has the 8.4" 1/3, same as non elocker tacomas), so I don't think the OD of the axle housing is an issue either.
Let me know what you think.

Should be OK. Do you have bumpstops figured out? Recommend these ones:

Ah, yes. For Bump stops I was going to first try to weld the stock bump to the flip plate and see where that got me, and only go aftermarket if necessary.
If I did go aftermarket, unfortunately the Wheeler's aren't in my budget. I know they are a superb product based upon what I've read here.
Do you have any other recommendations that may be a little more affordable?

Those look like a pretty good deal. Compatibility shouldnt be a super big issue because I could weld them onto the flip plate or bolt them to the frame tab that the bump hits.
From experience, does anyone know how sure it is that I'll need to go aftermarket? I'm doing a 2" AAL with 60091 rear shocks from OME

Just to add some closure, I ended up going with the toytec kit because I didn't need the tapped hole, and welded stock bumps to it. Fit was perfect, no issues there.
