I do in fact. Last night out of the blue, both my low beam headlights stopped working. Previous owner installed some kind of after market headlights. High beams and all other lights work. I hear a switch when I turn them on but not low beam.

Ive never had this happen to me before, so i cant be of much help with this one.. maybe try creating a new thread in here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/lighting.60/

Im sure someone has had this happen before. They can most likely lead you in the right direction

Edited to add: on the tacomaworld site, the search function is basically useless. I always just go to google and type what im looking for in the search bar and then after it write site:www.tacomaworld.com. This will give u search results for just this site. There is tons of great info on here, its just a matter of finding it.

Great write, mine just broke after a few months of a new underground parking spot for work so a repair will be needed for future.
    Cheers

I have a question. do I have to take the fender flare all the way off to get into the antenna? I have to replace the antenna on my 2006 Tacoma. Not picking up radio stations very good anymore. Not sure how to get the flare off before the plastic liner and the other way around. Don't want to break anything doing this and have the new antenna and some new blue clips and black clips to do the job.

I didn't when I replaced mine, but you do have to remove the screws that hold it onto the inner fender liner. you will also have to remove the mudflap so you can remove that portion of the fender liner too. Pretty much all I did when I replaced mine was peel the fender liner back so I could get in there and have access to where the grommet goes into the cab

Ditto, stealer wanted ~$500 to replace, saved ~$400 replacing antenna/bezel/nut/clips myself using new online oem parts.

It's amazing how easy these trucks are to work on if you know the tricks ie. serpentine accessory belt in 10 minutes etc.

    Thanks!

No break in period, should work as well as it's going to right away.

Mine was a clump of corrosion when I took it apart, worked great when I installed the new parts. Toyota should be eating these.

I have a question for you guys. I did the antenna change on my buddy's truck, and it was pretty easy except that now I can't get the rubber boot piece over the threads to install the little lock nut. There isn't another way to put the antenna in so I don't know why it won't fit.
