    I could've avoided cutting it, thing is the CB would stick out a lot. I took it out so it goes in deeper.

    I dremeled mine out in the back also. If I didn't do that then the cb would almost hit the shifter in the P postition

    I made a little bracket, also used double sided Velcro and double sided tape. Hasn't moved or wiggled a hair sense install

    Next time I pull the panel to install the switches I will take a picture. I used some J-clips and screw to hold the CB mounting bracket

    Thank you so much! It was a lot of work, but the first one is always the hardest. If you want a cad file, I'd be happy to send to you. I think this would be pretty easy to make in aluminum or steel. I did steel as i'm not so hot with my aluminum welding, yet. I have wondered if it would sell... i bet lots of folks would love the utility as the "panel" portion is easily DIY'd.

    If i got this switch panel and got the covers until i get switches (havent decided what switches to get) do i have to pull everything apart to install switches or do they just pop in?

    the switches will just
    the switches will just pop in, however to get to the wiring you will need to remove the panel to get to.
