This looks interesting, but, every pic I see is taken with the truck in park. It looks very likely that when in drive the shift knob really blocks the phone. Is anyone finding this to be the case?

@Toy4me I spent some time getting the height and angle right so that the phone would maintain an unobstructed view from the shifter regardless of position. I acted like a weird-o and put myself at different heights for a little while even - I'm a bit over 6' at normal height for the record.

Rec'd mine a few days ago. It was a tight fit initially, but after a few passes w/a file and a shot of "quickdraw" spray it works perfectly.

    Very Happy w/it. Thanks...

Clear view of the phone in any gear, a bit under 6' for the record.

I would like to purchase one of these. I have an iPhone 7+. My phone case is a Caudabe Veil XT. It is only 0.35mm thick, so I don't even know if you would need to adjust for it.

No blockage at all. It does not even hit the phone when you shift from Park to drive.

Just put in an order for a Nexus 6P with Spigen Rugged Armor case. The dimensions text field only accepts numbers so 3.251 is not a valid entry nor is 3.251 x 0.446.

Got mine today, already a big fan. Can see this becoming a must have mod like the @ImMrYo rearview mirror bracket.

Been running a t mac holder for a few months now. Thing is awesome and looks oem. Only thing I did was add some 3m tape to the bottom. Mount angles phone perfectly and leaves enough room for a charge cable.

I've had mine for a while now, and absolutely love it.

My wife wants one for her RAV4, but I don't know where it would go.

If I can find a mounting location and dimension it, would you make it?

Just installed this yesterday, and I love it. Tremendous craftsmanship. The only bummer (an oversight on my part) was the aux/headphone input getting blocked by the holder. I still have a stock head unit in my 2011, so I can't stream music via Bluetooth. A (very minor) inconvenience. For now, I just place the phone in the holder upside down whenever I feel like listening to tunes. Maybe this gives me an excuse to purchase an upgraded head unit!

All in all, super pleased with this mount. No longer will my phone sit in the cup holder or rest between the shifter and center console. Thanks again!

Why not drill a hole big enough for the headphone jack to fit through? I doubt it would compromise the sturdiness of the design.
