My question is has anyone tried jiffy lube, pep boys or any quick change fluid shop to have your transmission fluid changed? The stealership quoted me at 400$ for a flush and fill. The quick change shops are from 120$ to 200$. The dealership mechanic also told me not to change the filter. This is my first tacoma and I don't want to change the fluid on my own. Not an option actually. So basically would a quick change be reliable or better to fork out the extra 200-280$

Was that flush or drain and fill?
The quick change shops might not have the most qualified person to do this.
You could also inquire around for a reputable repair shop.
If you live in Tampa Bay FL I'll help you do this.

That was for a complete flush and refill. No filter. But from what I've read. With 180,000 miles it's better to not flush?? Just drain and fill. I live in Northern California unfortunately or I'd be there this weekend for your help lol.
