    Not sure how to respond. The Tacoma do look good hauling stuffs as well as kayaks.

    I don't have a dog in this hunt, but buying a Tacoma just to haul a kayak seems a little off.

    Why? It's reliable... it has more bed space than my wife's ram, its lower to the ground than a full sized (less lifting) the inside fits my cooler, trolling motor, 6 poles... on top of that I can launch where some other people can't go...

    Sure it's fun to drive to work but... that's what a beater is for
