KO racing also has a log manifold. Also there's the mazworx diy log mani too.

She not pretty, but it will do I think. Going to make a ss heat shield around that ugly up pipe instead of heat wrap. The wrap is making the metal flake off.

Did done some measurements and think that treadstone cast manifold is my next move. Just need to bend a new shock hoop.

Do you have a one way valve on the VAC line that connects your brake booster to your intake manifold?

Not yet. Was actually on my mind to cap off and one way valve a few hoses. Would love to find another throttle body so I can just clog up all those ports. Planning to do my evap canister and brake booster as a one way. Also everything else is vent to atmosphere like power steering breather, evap that goes to the intake. Just trying simplify any air leaks that can happen. Thinking about putting a gm AIT sensor on the manifold for a different boost air temp reading and help with my hot starts.

Sounds like that would clean up a lot. I haven't done mine either. I've been having issues with what I'm guessing is my master cylinder and wondered if it was due to boost going into the booster

There is a one way valve inside the booster, but sure anything more than low boost will piss it off.

I'm going to replace my MC hopefully this weekend. Hopefully that'll fix my soft pedal issue. I wasn't sure if the boost is what caused the issue or just that I have 180k on the odo. I figured I'd put a one way valve to protect the new MC in case that is what caused it

Started the truck up today. Whoa baby feels like race truck. Good vibrations and tight driveline. Probably tackle the other side in a month or two. Just happy the motor doesn't flop around.

Hey Mike what setup do you have for a SUA, I'm having trouble finding a SUA kit for the rear suspension. Any recommendations for an SUA or rear suspension in general?
Getting close to a suspension purchase :bananadance:

Whoever is welding it on probably has enough skills to make hangers and 12" shackles. Grab some spring perches and ubolts. Go for spring plates like mine(I can find one in a day or two). Stay away from deaver f55 and f67 pack if you want to run weight. Ideally run a custom rear pack deaver. At least for a 1st gen sua is easy.

I've seen a clue members with 12 inch shackles from Total Chaos but didn't see then selling them for 1st gens anymore. If you can find spring plates I'd definitely appreciate it, honestly the whole SUA is confusing me haha. How strong is yours? I can easily see me hitting it on rocks since I bash my skids and axles already.
Thanks for the heads up on a custom reaver pack, I definitely need to be able to run weight

Read this. This describes how the order goes.

    spring plate: https://www.polyperformance.com/total-chaos-u-bolt-relocation-plates-40020
    Spring perch: https://www.polyperformance.com/synergy-leaf-spring-perch-2-5-wide-3128-250

A spring shop can bend you really good U bolts at a perfect length. Takes 15 minutes.

Make custom front hangers, rear hangers, and shackles. Whoever is doing your bedcage has enough skills that make that. I'd run a 16" shock 2.5" diameter so you can use all your wheel travel.

I have never touched my front hangers off road on rocks. 3/16" mild should be strong enough for you. Run at least a 32" tire.
