Hey guys. I havent seen much about these and im new to this site. I recently installed these on my 08 taco trd. I put the 2.75" quick lift on and i am kinda worried, it seems that i have about .5" of clearance between my uca and my inside of my tire. Should i worry about this? I have an alignment set for a day from now and i am afraid that once they camber the bottom of the wheel out, i will be touching. What can i do to stop that from happening and what can i do that wont be to costly?

Aftermarket UCA or wheel spacers. Spacers will be cheaper.

I have the rancho lift on mine with 265/75/16 aligned and no rubbing. If you go over 265 I could see some rubbing issues. So far the rs9000 9 way adjustables have been great. I run mine in the 5th setting probably go to 6 next time I crawl under there.

Yes, I have the rancho quick lift struts just like you have (RS9000 adjustable), I did not do any specific measurements to determine actual lift, but I'd put it in the 2.5-2.75 range. I did the install myself, then had an alignment done at a tire shop. I drove around for a couple days with out alignment, but I would get done as soon as you can. Just mounted up some falken wildpeaks last night (265/75/16) and I have no rub whatsoever. Do you have aftermarket wheels? I am still running stock wheels.

    You're probably gonna need UCAS.
    Most do.

Now does that mean i need just standard size new ones or ??? Should i do extended ones. Im just kinda lost.. i honestly didnt want any lift on my truck i am a firm believer that if the engineers, engineered it the way it came, then thats how it should stay but my dumb ass didnt read the full discription on my rancho purchase. I just wanted a strut/ shock kit fully assembled and ready to install.. now i have to buy UCA's because i messed up by not reading the full literature on the

OP, there is so much to learn when you lift these trucks. The best thing is that if your not happy with the outcome, you can take it off and sell it on the marketplace. Down the road I will most likely do UCAS, but for now, I am pleased with the outcome, and will replace parts as they wear out and or fail. I have been driving around with my rancho kit for last 3 months and not a single issue, I did have to do the ECGS needle bearing fix tho.

OP....I also have the Rancho Rs66901R9 Lift Kit, basically it's what you have including the UCA's and rear shocks. I've had the set up on my truck for about a year now and love it. Nice ride, mine are set to #4
