    Plans keep changing. First the wife was going. Then she decided she didn't want to camp 2 or 3 nights in March. So I got a good friend to commit. Then work schedule changed and I get 2 days/1 night. wife says she wants in on that. Fortunately, the friend has relatives in town that weekend, so he was happy to bow out. Now it looks like we drive down Friday mid day, stay that night, and head for home on Saturday afternoon. Working on a sub for Sunday @ work. If that pans out, we MAY be there Saturday night and go home Sunday. If we do, we'll bring the camper. 1 night? a tent. It's still a moving target.

    Cheaper to camp at Neville Bay then drive the 5 minutes to the park if it's even open.

    Backcountry camping permit link has been in the OP for a month lol

    Edit: does anyone know if it's a pass per person or for each truck? I'm assuming person.

    If these maps are repost I apologize. I haven't seen a good map uploaded to this thread. About 10 years ago, the forestry service used to put out an "fire roads" map every year that you could pick up like a brochure for free at the welcome stations, but then they quit publishing them in hopes that people would quit using the trails. These maps had every maintained an non-maintained road that you were permitted to use. This map came out of my truck, so it's been well used and worn, they're in PDF form so if some computer wiz can make them photos that be great. Hope this helps
