Unlike their moose challenge this test is just 25 mph. No remotely safe vehicle will tip over. Just complete the test and post a video for comparison with other posted videos.

That looks fun! They should have put some shit on the roof rack first. Would have been more fun!

We did these drills with Crown Vic's back in the day. Evasion training. Much wider and lower center of gravity though!

You are going to want to find out what each truck runs for their rear suspension. It actually makes a huge difference. I have gone through a bunch of different leaves, shocks, and then linked with coils and they all felt way different during panic stops/manuevers.

Obviously the more flex in the rear the worse the body roll. In my experiences with weight in the bed I cant tell if my front bar is on or off.

Give it a try. I have run swayless, but my current rigs are not even close to stock, so they are pointless as data points.

Only time I would hesitate is if you are top heavy and let unexperienced drivers drive it(wife, kids, etc).

I bought my truck 4 years ago. Daily driver, never had a sway bar. I have a 6in procomp stage 2 lift. I got a drone and go pro. Just need to find the time. I would try. Oh and roof top tent

I've taken some turns where the truck tilts pass it point, alarm goes off and cuts off my acceleration

All the BS aside, it's a worthy experiment IMO. I hope some results are posted.

I feel that results will vary considerably based on owners installed suspension and other mods that alter COG, etc.

lets be clear, i would never recommend removing the sway bar on stock suspension. There is a huge difference between that and removing it with upgraded shocks/coils

I removed the swaybar on my 2015 on Monday. I had my wife take the truck to pick the kids up from scjool ( she loves to drive my truck). I didn't tell her anything was different.

When I asked her how she rode, she replied...."you can really feel the weight of that camper shell" "it doesn't feel as planted as your old truck".

I kind of like it off but will probably put it back on for her sake. I also don't want to store the damn thing!

I would love to do the test if I had that kind of free time.

I got a @Pelfreybilt on the front of my '13 Sport and went ahead and removed the sway bar when I leveled the front. Not that I'm purposefully going to hit something, but if a deer, or any animal finds itself in my way and I can't safely alter course. Then I'm taking it with me. If I'm going to hit it and no way around that, I'm hitting it and having a steak while I wait on the officer...

Lots of talk and no video in here. I have my sway bar off, not discounting the safety factor of the thing. My trucks not a racecar, no matter how much I like to drive it like one.

Shouldn't OP be the first one to post the video?

My question would be, with all the fabricators we have on TW,
Why doesn't somebody offer a quick disconnect for our swaybars!
It would give us the best of both, and the vendor would probably make a lot of sales!

I know this has been looked at many times. There are threads on it but there were issues I believe.
