Had new tires put on recently on my 2007 Pre-Runner and noticed a strange squeaking sound coming from the rear area. Had the rear leaf TSB done but did not address the sound. The tech at he dealership said I had a rear shock that was leaking. I've zeroed in on the sound and it is the drivers side shock so I plan on replacing both. The local Midas quoted me $450-500 over the phone with parts and $110 without. I did say "just the rear" so maybe they're quoting me for all 4. Regardless, I see that a pair of Bilstein 5100s are about $144 on Amazon. Are there any other parts that I might need for replacing both rear shocks or does each shock come with the applicable mounting as well as any other parts? Thanks.

All you need is just the shock and the rear is extremely easy to replace.

I didn't even lift the rear end or remove tires to replace my rear shocks. Super simple task.
