    Going to revive this thread. Good information. I'm thinking of putting in an add-a-leaf and am thinking shims are necessary. I've got the CB drop and still have vibrations.

    The shims helped mine. The CB drop alone didn't do it. From everything I've read it seems like it can vary truck by truck......or perhaps it may just be owner by owner tolerance for vibrations.
