Has anyone at all changed their 3rd brake light in a NON-TRD ?

Looking for pics of changed out 3rd brake lights on the SRs only. And where you got them, I found a few , just worried about fitment issues .

You have many aftermarket options as the third brake assembly is carry over from 2nd gen. IPCW was the popular brand in the 2nd gen section.

Ok, great, so it's a carry over(same) from the 2nd gens, awesome, I should be able to find a bunch then, I'll look in 2nd Gen threads too, thanks man.

No worries. I've personally done clear lens from either Klearz or DK moulds, painted the housings black and used 3-red 194 LEDs in my 2nd gen.

Are we sure that it's a plug-and-play from the second gen to the 3rd gen that it's not just physically the same size and has a different wiring connector on it. Toyota is great for changing those wiring connectors from generation to generation even year-to-year

Could we put LEDs in the light we have now?
