Trailer Lights inop

    I looked for the answer here before posting, but couldn't find the answer:
    Brand new 2017 Tac, with tow pkge, went to hook up my brake controller, found the plug in the kickpanel, would not power up. Hooked the trailer up, and there's no lights. Checked the 3 fuses, all are good, what am I missing here......

    The first thing you should do is test if the plug on the back of the truck is getting any power, then at least you will be able to determine if the problem is with the truck, or with the trailer.

    good thought. definitely the truck. everything appears connected at the bumper, too....
