I'll happily drive 8 hours to go wheeling, I'm not going to drive an hour to see tired boobs at Hooters.

Four Corners Brewing west across the fancy bridge in downtown Dallas has a good selection and good beer. Open Saturday and Sunday.

Great idea. Bunch of good food places near by, too. LUCK and Off Site Kitchen are my preferences.
    Yes
Yep! Some is valet only, but the lot at 4 Corners is pretty big itself.

I'm heavily prefer this place, as long as it's not an Army weekend.

Thats an intriguing way to set up the spare. I had been thinking about how I could incorporate a tire carrier into a bed rack.

If I had a better suspension and thought I could actually pull off a jump that smooth I would be all over it! That was just beautifully executed.

Those look great! I'm not sure if they would fit but I have a set of FN center caps in that are sliver and say TRD in red. They might match the wheel really well if they fit. I can bring them to the next meet up if your interested.

Cool. i'll throw them in my truck so I don't forget. If you want to try them sooner we could also meet up sometime, though my work schedule is crazy right now with putting in 60+ hrs a week. I'm not sure how they will work being front install vs back. I can look at my spare and see what they attach to on the FN wheels because I never checked when I originally installed them. Just held them up and smacked them into the wheels. I like the TRD ones but didnt like the color contrast on the bronze wheels so I just used the black ones and didnt know what I was going to do with the TRD ones.

First coat of primer on the skids this evening. Hopefully get to finish them up tomorrow. I think im short a bunch of hardware. I'm sure Mobtown will come through. Still bummer that I'll have to wait to install though.

Shouldnt be short.. if its like the 2nd gen, ull remove factory skids and some brackets. Youll reuse 2 of the smaller bolts on the rear of the new skid. Then 4 of the large bolts that were holding on the orig skid brackets.

Yeah, i know i'll reuse some of the existing, but for the IFS and Trans skid I was only given two bolts/nuts and washers. I went ahead and sent Mobtown a message and I'll see what they say. I got plenty of time anyway. Probably take me all weekend to get this painted.
