I saw a bunch 3rd gen guys running these. For 6K they look good, but they said it wasn't really an improvement over stock. Just looked better.

If they don't have better light output then stock, why bother. My HIDs are way better than stock and work better with my old eyes.

I tired some of those "clamps". I don't think it is sending signals through my vehicle wiring as when I'm parked next to another truck and fire off the lights they can hear the start up arc. I could try and "cage" the ballast but I'm not sure where to find braid that big and if it would be worth the effort. Some other ballasts don't have any effect on 10-11-12m or the 2m-7cm I'll be running soon. I just am nervous to be the test mule, Money is tight this time of year.

I looked at those before too except I'd be upgrading from stock. Tired of the ol yeller lights.
It seems as if the adjustable reflector inside my stock headlight housing is "loose". When I have them adjusted correctly there's a visible shake when I hit bumps in the road. I have to have the drivers side adjusted farther to the right than it should be to prevent the light shake. Is there a way to tighten this up or is it time for new housings?

Just to get rid of the yellow lights, but that why I didn't bother spending the money.

In that case... You should probably put some night shades over your headlights. If you want to play frogger, one must be fine with the consequences.

I suggest visiting the HAM radio outlet in Aurora, when I was talking to them about future HAM stuff with Truck they brought up reducing FM interference and seemed to have a bunch of practical knowledge on doing it. Parking also showed a bunch of cars with HAM antennas so they might know the best way to fix this HID interference too.
