    It appears to be a soft trifold bed cover that lays flush like the picture attached. The soft topper in the picture you referenced is a Can-Back brand soft top. I found out that they are starting up again. The company was quiet for a while and possibly not continuing but recently came back and is taking requests to see what interest comes about for certain model/year vehicles. I sent my interest for the 1st gen Tacoma soft topper and just waiting to see if they start making them again if there is enough interest. Lots of $ for these compared to the soft topper brand but they can handle weight so it takes the place of a hard shell and still utilize the soft top use, getting the best of both worlds.

    So the "ragtop" the other guy showed me from SoCal is just a soft top tonneau cover? Unlike the one for sale from Utah? That is actually a real soft top that takes place of a Hard top? I don't want a camper shell or soft tonneau cover. I'm looking for something like that top from Utah. But not for that price, hence looking for a used one. I already looked at that soft topper from Utah and he mentioned something was broke on it. From the pictures of the one from SoCal, it looks like just a flat cover.

    K & N cold air kit, Gibson exhaust, R 1 concepts front slotted rotors, Braided brake hoses, stereo upgrades. All other parts replaced with Toyota parts.
    Looking for a tonneau cover for my '03 Tacoma. (just like or similar to the one pictured on my truck). My friend had one that I was using (pictured) then he sold his truck with the cover. Cover folded and had 4 latches on the inside to lock onto the bed. Easy to install.
    I live in Jacksonville Fl.

    Yeah, Turfboy from SoCal has just the flat cover that sits flush with your bed side rails like CFR1000's post above ^. Completely different from the soft topper.
