Best tip I can give you is soak that pinion nut in PB or whatever your choice of penetrating oil is for as many days as possible as many times as possible. Those things can be a bitch to get off.

You Crazy how much leds make a difference. Swoped my led reverse light into Trixie2.0 and they look sweet! I can actually see now when in reverse.

Excuse the crap, but this is just with the reverse lights, nothing else!

TRD center will fit if you decide to run them instead. I didn't like my wheels being so dark. The center cap really makes them pop. Plus 9,000,000 will ask you if they were factory toyota wheels lol

I prefer the all one color look, not a fan of the TRD center cap. I may have a set of black T4R stickers made for the center caps just to add a little something to them.

After an extended absence I have returned, but I come with baggage. So here it is: I want to do a lift kit on the truck (suspension not body) but I am not sure what I want. There are too many options, any thoughts would be appreciated. Seeing as I don't want to sink a lot of money into this lift please don't get to crazy. It is a 2012 Tacoma DC Short Bed 4x4 I am thinking around 3in. Wheels and tires would be next.

Also I think I finally figured out why women take so long shopping.

These muddafuckas. Told them.they were gonna burn up the 3/4" impact wrench yesterday if they kept it up with the big hardware. They sent the poor new guy up to me today to ask if I could order another impact wrench. When I asked why, he said "this one just stopped working" and hands it to me with the 3-1/8" socket still on it, that I told them was gonna toast the gun 24 hours prior

I believe it. They'd tear up an anvil with a banana. Because they didn't pay for it.

replace that shit with a 3/4" or 1" breaker bar and about 3 or 4 feet of pipe, and let them learn the hard way. and if they ask why "sorry, no room left in the budget"

One of the reasons I own air tools lol. Guys in my shop are also responsible for buying their own tools.

Got my ToyTec Boss kit in the mail today. I think I may have to snuggle it tonight lol can't wait to install it. Hate the red coils up front though so they'll get painted black.

I work for an extremely safety conscious company, on a highly regulated site. you'll be walking to your car with your last paycheck before you even put any weight on the pipe sleeved over a breaker bar.

proper tool for this job would have been a Hytorc hydraulic wrench or the 6' long torque wrench in my office.

i love air, but we are working in a very different environment than a shop, with close to 3000 "craft" workers on site.
kind of the same thing as above. highly regulated site with a lot of safety requirements. impossible to guarantee that all the tools being used are safe and up to par if the guys bring their own. big liability. also, a lot of the tools we use cost a lot of money and are very specialized. calibrated torque guns and tension controlled electric wrenches that can cost $15,000+ a piece before you even get the first specialty socket for them.

I hate the red. I'll be spending way too much time masking off the shock inside and out and painting the coils black lol. Is what it is!
