So know little to nothing about wiring and I'm hoping to get a little input. I have an 08 TRD sport and over the past year i have had to change my headlights out multiple times. In the past it has just been one or the other but this week my left headlight went out and today my right one went out. What should i be looking for as far as problems. I feel like at this point it can't be the actual lights. My fog lights have never gone out though. Thoughts?

Have you by chance made sure not to touch the glass capsule portion of the bulbs with your hands or anything else? Getting the oils from your skin on the glass leads to hot spots which will kill the bulbs.

Other thoughts. Are your headlights dim by any chance? (May be a bad ground.) Do you start the truck with your headlights already on? (The large current draw from your starter temporarily dims the bulbs and they don't like that either.) Do you see any moisture in the headlight housings? (Water droplets on the bulbs are even worse than oils from your skin.)

What bulbs are you running? Something like silver stars?
