So post a quick vid. This isn't a feels and testimonials thread.

lol @steelhd ain't taking excuses! I was weaving in the carpool lane on the way home, my carpool buddy was like "WTF knock it off I'm getting sea sick!". Then after dropping her I was looking down side streets & parking lots trying to scope out where I can video my test. Stupid So Cal rat race there's nowhere decent unless it's 3am on a week night, and that's not conducive to a video.

TL/DR - I'm trying coach, don't cut me from the team yet.

You know @steelhd could take a video of his truck with the sway bar on and then another with the sway bar off. Same truck, same driver, same everything. That would be the most telling test.

I'm usually about 2100 miles from my truck so I can't participate in a timely fashion myself...

Good idea, I like that. Was just going to make make a vid with one on. But now I will probably do both.

Lol. There are undersubscribed parking lots everywhere except on top of the largest ant piles. Schools and parks off houra are a prime choice. Just sayin. :)

I am happy and glad that you went out and did a representation of the test. Thank you D-Rose.

What I am critical of is the sharpness of turn in and distance to cutback. Yours seemed a lot more subtle than the video.

Which makes me ask the question. What are the specifications for the cone layout. Dimensions of placement.

?? I was thinking the cones were to be placed in a straight line, 60ft apart?

4 markers, 60 ft, 25 mph. That's how the State of Washington defines a vehicle with handling that is suitable for the road.

    "Washington RCW 204-10-036
    Suspension.
A motor vehicle must be capable of stable, controlled operation while traversing a slalom-type path passing alternately to the left and right of at least four cones or markers arranged in a straight line and spaced sixty feet apart at a minimum speed of 25 mph.

It's a fairly low bar and if a truck can't do that if shouldn't be on the road regardless of the driver's feels.

No clue what they were doing with the moose cones. This thread is about WA States minimum standard. Honestly, if a vehicle can't serve hard around a moose, pedestrian, or disabled fuel truck at speed it shouldn't be on the road. But that's beyond the scope of what we are trying to do here. :)

So then basically an autocross slalom test.

4 water bottles 60ft apart just as the test stated. It wasn't bad at all in my truck but I only have kings at the stock settings and a 1.5 AAL with 265/75/16. I also don't have anything heavy like armor so I'm not as prone to body roll as some others.

I have videos, but YouTube isn't letting me upload them. I've never uploaded a video and it keeps telling me there was an error creating the channel?? :notsure:
