    Are floor mats a mod?
There's a mark 5 ford F 40 kit car that's getting something like 500+ hp out of the econoboost. Don't know the exact number but it's crazy.

A new bolt here, a new bolt there, a new bolt everywhere.
SDP is getting 310rwhp with the twin kit and a mild tune on the 2.8L Duramax. I wonder how much torque they are getting if stock hp is 181hp and 369lb-ft. I can assume they are doubling at the engine. So would that mean it's 738lb-ft

I always love a good GM versus Ford dick swinging, but really who cares lol. I hear this all the time from my buddies comparing the 6.2 L to the 3.5 L Ecoboost. They are almost apples and oranges. One is a traditional V8 and, hey, nothing wrong with liking the characteristics of that drive style. The other pulls harder off the line, as in literally pulling a load, but doesn't feel much like the big V8 it replaced which throws a lot of people off. Plus the whole which will fail first, displacement on demand wrecking piston rings or turbos failing argument.

In the end, either way, whatever you buy and like will be the best choice for you. That is all.

I had one briefly. Too much truck for me. Same price as my Tacoma though, but resale was a bitch when I went to trade back into a Taco, thats for sure.

And don't forget a C-channel frame, since torsional rigidity in a truck is overrated. ;)

I just checked NADA.. Average trade in equipped the same as mine is $38,000, retail is $43,000. I paid $42,000

    A 2015 is $35,500 trade, $39,750 retail. That's really not that bad.

I paid $35k for mine in 2014 new, got $10k in rebates, went to trade it 6 months later for my 15 tacoma and got $29k for it. Not saying its terrible, was just so spoiled and used to Tacoma resale.

NADA tends to be high but depends on the market too (local demand supply etc)

Yeah it is what it is.. I'm not worried about it.

If my Jeep Cherokee dies it'll be fun looking for a pre-Tacoma Toyota truck at a decent price. Most rusted away to nothing, and the one's left have either been destroyed with BS mods or cost an arm and a leg in pristine shape. Not a lot of middle ground I see.

But I think I'm keeping my Cherokee for a long time. That thing is just Goddamn bulletproof.
