@HeliMedic you need this to replace your step... you could clamp in an aluminum flat platform instead of that wooden step... #sofierce!

so did anybody actually read the description from the venders site?

"This trail D-vise has three components to help you on the trail. It has a rock slider that's been proven to work well under rough conditions. It has a usable step for convenience. It also has offroad block lights. This D-vise is made from 3/16" steel and has been CNC cut. There are hi-lift jacking points and LED rock lights built in."

you hear that boys?!? LED rock lights!!!! lol... i'm assuming this is from a bumper, copy and paste fail, of some sort :notsure:

One thing that I did like allot was the ability to pull the jaw out as far as a I needed by hand before I put the locking pin into the hitch and then clamped it down with the included wrench or socket.

Late response, but got mine too. Very nice quality. As far as it being a little close when installed (plate flip) just get an extension and you'll have all the room you need. I'm leaving mine off until I need it. Surprisingly, I've needed this several times over the last year (and didn't have it!).
