I still haven't maxed my dakars out- the nitro chargers and trimmed fender are limiting... :pout:

Hoping to do a shock relocate this spring.

3.0 fits 2.5" shock bodies. Not sure why they are labeled a half size bigger than the shock they fit.

I could have and if I were to do it over again I probably would but at this point im fine with 700's. With all my skids on I can hit my bump stop

Just pull the coilover m8. You'll be able to hit the bump stop in the comfort of your garage.

I was debating on doing that but I got a good enough idea of how much to cut this way

Yeah 700s. I have all my skids on though.. lol but I actually lowered mine about 4 turns each side cause it sat way too high.

I'm boxing the rear frame, custom crossmember and going back to factory shackles and cleaning all the rust off

Thats all on my list too for post-moab stuffs. Lots to do

Yea I checked the hubs and stuff right when I bought it. The guy before me took it to Vegas once to pick his jeep up and that was it so its practically brand new. I am thinking about getting a second spare tire for it just in case.

I also picked up some new lights today from PTLX Global, 4 in total. 2 are warm white (flood) and 2 cool white (spot)
These things are LEGIT. They aren't anything like the typical LED pods that people run and all companies look alike. 9,000 lumens of effective light per unit. My friend is running these on his LC, 2 of these outshine my 40" light bar. Should have them mounted and wired up tomorrow.

Which frame plates did you go with? Since I'm ditching the stock cross member, I need one piece but not sure if windowed or not.

That's what I was leaning more towards but was worried there wouldn't be as much strength or room to weld the cross member to

The windows aren't really that big but I haven't welded it up yet. That's something I'll do after our Moab trip.

Dude I hope I get my new rig outfitted here in the next couple months and we can meet up. Your truck is a beast! I just graduated from Texas A&M, and I'm based over in Bremerton for now but am hoping to get transferred to Florida next winter. It's good to see some UW students that dont just protest in Cap Hill all the time
