My only gripe is the flip flop. I generally don't mind the cold when I can get used to it.

 

Mild winter, we were almost 70 Thursday got a light dusting of snow Friday lol

 

Hi, it's still there! We have been in the process of moving our 1930's control room so they can remodel. Everything is computerized now, but we had to do it while we stayed running.

 

Sounds like a lot of work.

Went to a wreck last night where a individual decided to get into a chase with a deputy. Wait for it.....





















In a Prius.

Well apparently a Prius is kind of like a 3 wheeler in a high speed turn. If you don't put weight on the front wheel it keeps going straight. Right into an embankment at 70mph. Said it was going 103 during the chase. I said I didn't know a Prius could go that fast.

 

I can always put on more clothes. One can only get so naked when it's 114 in the shade.

 

The Gen 3 will - it's got the 1.8 Toyota puts in everything. That's about the extent of it though. Good to know about the handling - I'll make a point not to get into a high speed chase in my wife's car.

So, uh, how'd the moron make out? If our last Prius was any indication they probably only had airbag burns.

 

I was impressed with the damage it took. Front was destroyed but passenger compartment intact and the doors still open.

I can't speak on the individuals inside. HIPPA and shit.

 

Our Gen 2 Prius was totaled when we were hit while stopped in traffic. Assholes were doing 40 when they hit us from behind. Destroyed the read end, warped the frame, pinched the doors shut, and no one was hurt. Not a scratch. As soon as the insurance settlement (and a little extra) came through my wife didn't hesitate to get the one she has now. For being, well, a Prius, it's a damn good little car.

 

Agree. You don't see many take a impact like that and not totally destroy a car.
