XTP Intake Manifold Spacer 4.0L

I thought about maybe machining that bracket, but then I have to deal with the pulleys and everything... just dont know if its worth it. Then there's the hood clearance on top of that.

 

Hood clearance should not be a problem btw.

 

Dont think so? I didnt really bother checking once I got to that bracket. Seems like it would be pretty close no? I imagine it's fairly close now with the blower, then being raised another 2".

 

It would not be. I have a Upper cross member running across engine bay area and it's fairly raised above where the blower is. It doesn't make a whole lot of contact with the hood considering how much higher up it is.

 

Those others who have emailed or messaged me, I do have red, silver, black in stock. I can also get blue, gold, or green done quickly.

Got mine installed last night, will report back with my observations.

Noticed when installing that the #6 cylinder is much cleaner than the rest. Does the carbon buildup/residue look normal for the rest of the cylinders?

 

Looks normal to me.

Also, have there been any more dyno's with this. Been rocking mine for so long i forgot it was there.

 

Haven't gotten mine dyno'd, but I will say that after installing the DTLT headers I noticed my low end torque had packed it's bags and left town. I put on the manifold spacer and immediately regained that low end torque. I'd be curious to see more dyno numbers as well but my butt dyno says meaty part of the torque curve has been moved down to 1600-2200 rpm's, making this a great addition for everyday driving.

Will this work with a 4.0 with a supercharger and is it worth installing if you have one?

 

Read several posts ago, I don't think anyone ever installed one.

 

do you have the gaskets for individual sale? When the dealership swapped my frame they had to remove my intake manifold

or that's what their saying is causing my lean faults at idle...

 

I was looking for this thread and mine had a tear when I was swapping out my spark plugs so i removed it but I too want to know if I can gets a gasket or two
