Hey smsmitty how does that lightbar mount under the factory roof rack. What kind of brackets and lightbar ?

 

there bolted on the inside of the roof racks. heres a link to them. i elected to not use the pop rivets and use self tapping acres instead, easier to remove i need to.

As far as the light brackets in the back of the rack, i used 1/4 inch steel fencing brackets and cut them to the appropriate size. used the same self tapping screws for them

Method Race Wheels, 105 Beadlock, machined, 17x8.5 4.75BS with 34X10.5X17 KO2s (these will rub without lift and UCAs). The lift is SPC LR UCAs with Fatbobsgarage custom Bilstein 5100s with #600 springs. Nothing in the back but will be doing shackle flip and a custom spring pack, I think. Still not sure on the back, will let the front settle and install winch, bumper and 3 steel skid plates to see where the truck is at. Yes the front tires rub at stuff, but once we get the alignment dialed in it looks like I will be cutting some plastic and the front of the front fender some. One advantage of using the SPC LR UCAs is moving the upper ball joint forward. I also have two inches more droop with this set up. Was 23 1/2 center of hub to bottom of finder full droop, now it is 25 1/2. Center to hub to bottom of fender is 23" with wait on it. It does have the Bro lean for now but will end up with slight rake forward.

 

Had Katzkin leather installed last week....seats,dash,console lid, door panels, shifter and e-brake boots...leather is a little darker in person than in pics... sure some people think it's too much orange but thought I would share for those that might like it. Also installed Japanese market OEM Toyota digital video recorder which sits tucked up in front of rearview mirror mounted to windshield.

 

Do you have expierence with the Wild Country XTX's?

 

Maglite ML300L (3 D cells) flashlight added. Reinforced the seat's plastic with 1"x12" piece of wood under the seat.



Also added TUFSKINZ lettering, they are pretty sweet. They hard plastic, which I like. Below are several photos that show the details.

 

can you share some info on this 'OEM Toyota Digital Video Recorder'. I haven't heard / seen anything about this and interested in its function, install, price.

Went and purdyfied my taco... It wasn't I finally got a break in weather and washed the truck. I forget how nice this color looks when its cleaned!

Is this the 30'' bar, single or double row. Does it fit in behind the grill?

 

My bike rack setup.

 

I installed GTMat sound deadening material on the rear cab wall to cut down on road noise coming from the rear. The truck is a lot quieter stock than all of the Honda's I've owned but I still got some road noise from the rear; especially if you put the back seats down. I used left over GTMat on my tailgate to quiet down the Pop&Lock actuator.

 

Did you make that or buy it?

 

Well added some new "mods" lol. Replaced all the interior lights with LED. Added a sweet sticker for more horsepower 15+ and husky floor liners for the pup. Waiting on my raptor nerf bars and BAMF grill!

I just finished the rack yesterdy. Waiting on solar panal, 50" caliraised, and cvt awning. Looks bare right now. I'll post some more build details later.
