Easy and good. Did you notice when I was over that I'm missing 2.5 inches of bedside? Also look at dave's truck.

Cut & broke off some stuff.
    or mine.

There's 2" cut off my flares, 2.5" off the fenders behind the flares.
Buy clips ahead of time so you can reattach the flares if you want to keep them. About $15 on Amazon.
And be ready to play for a while with the splash shields to figure out a way to put them back in.

    Yes!

What I'm building will go UNDER the normal bed rack. I plan on eventually putting an RTT on the rack you have.

Made a run up to Naptown today (Indianapolis) Went to 4 Wheel Parts and grabbed a new ARB 30' X 3" recovery strap. (Already have two 20' X 2") Re-packed recovery gear bag when we got home. 5 shackles, 3 straps, a 20' X 3/8" chain. Should be good for now!

As you've already heard, it's super easy, looks good as long as you do it right. I didn't put my splash guards back in, so no worries there. I also have 2.5" out of the metal, and 2" out of the flares. You can also get edge trim from Trail Toys to clean up the edges if you need. Some guys don't even put the flares back on and just put edge trim on the sheet metal.

Not sure if it's corporate policy or just the one store, but the Indianapolis 4 Wheel Parts was giving discounts if you had receipts for buying Girls Scout cookies (based on how many you bought) My wife buys a cubic shit-ton of 'em and gives them out on people birthdays where she works. Bagged $24 worth of discount yesterday! (And got a box of Samoa's to boot) Will be using my discounted ARB recovery strap @ LBL in less than 3 weeks!

I rattle canned mine in flat black.

But I quoted because I've had mine a couple weeks already
Guess the powder coat took all that extra time.

Hey guys. T4R owner here. I'm originally from Paducah but live in Lexington. How bad will I be the red-headed step child if I show up that weekend? Haven't been to Turkey Bay yet but was planning on going soon anyway. Limited off road experience so there will be plenty of chances for you guys to make fun of a 4Runner every time I get into a mess and need help out of it.

    Welcome to TW!!!
What tires are you running? We're not hitting Turkey Bay this meet, fire roads and tertiaries only. It's always a blast and we always find some hairy trails to test the stock rides. Hope you can make it out!
