Need a little help. First off I am not that mechanical minded so please bear with me. My tail lights quit working. I have headlights brake lights and turn signals but no tail lights. I have checked the fuse under hood its good. when I turn lights on I can hear relay click so that's working. I also checked bulbs their ok. Someone said it could be my multi function switch. The switch controls headlights and turn signals but could it be faulty not letting my tail lights work properly? Any thoughts to help would be most appreciated... thanks

Do you have a trailer harness? If so it could be causing a short/open. Get a volt meter and start tracing the power.

I had the same issue. It was the trailer harness plus a gummed up connection at the pig tail behind the light itself. The connection gets messed up everytime I'm off-road.

do your dash lights work? If not, check the fuses. Same fuse runs taillights and dash lights, I believe

This is gonna sound really simple, but have you tried new bulbs in the tail lights? Or a circuit tester to be sure you are not getting any power back to the sockets? Yes, it's a long shot that both could have burned out at the same time, but, you never know...

I have replaced both bulbs. I have not tried a circuit tester.
