Will there ever be a 3rd gen regular cab?

Huh? He didnt change the size, just spent aton making it look like a 3rd gen.

 

Oh, is a whole third gen body cheap...well...fuck....sign me up!....I will get one for my first gen.

good point. People want trucks with multiple seats and doors.

Reg cabs are really great for wheeling, the shorter wheel base is really awesome. But they can be a pain for long road trips; limited one passenger, no room inside to put anything, etc.

 

Thank you, I was just making a point on the direction of "pickups". I agree the reg cabs are great for off-road...till you get a wife and kids

 

I don't care for the new body style of the 3rd gen. But I'd be interested in buying a reg cab short bed

 

The rear probably wouldn't be too expensive if you could find a 3rd gen that's been wreck in the front.. Just a bed box swap right?

 

By the time you did this you could buy a lifted,locked,first gen....with a LS swap

I like the way the access cabs look...but I love the reg cab short bed concept. That would be a really cool little truck.

 

I would fall into the category of "reg cabs are for people who don't get any" even though I have a DC

Haha it takes an extra 5 mins to turn it right so I gave up on that.

 

From what my broken neck can see...you should just buy a jeep at that point and I hate Chrysler corp. not there 4.0 though

 

Once you get there you might as well just buy an fj40 - unless you want to use their catch phrases like "JEEPIN' IT REAL.."

 

Even better....if you can find one cheap...unfortunately...they are never cheap.
