Sliders installed. They look really good. We tested them with a floor jack (no photo) and lifted the entire truck with them and didn't see any flex or hear any creaking (I was a bit nervous during this test).

The drivers side was a bit tricky when mounting the 4th leg, as it was near the fuel and break lines,so
we waited until after it was welded in place:

Where did you get them welded on and how much was it? Desperately need to get mine put on before LBL

 

My brother and I welded them. Mostly, my brother welded them. I moved shit around and my brother welded them.

 

Anybody know where to get the aprons that protect your engine from dirt and shit?

 

This guy sells a template, you buy the rubber.

I didn't disassemble the plate. Cut my old ones off (square tube/square plate), dropped my new ones in (round tube/round plate), blind welded between the U-bolt nuts. Going no where.

I already have an all pro flip kit. I need to measure and see if yours would work for what I need though.

 

im in need of like 3-4 of the black plastic things that hold those to metal tabs if anyone has spares. . .

although this is true, wouldnt it be great to do a project together!?!?!?

and I dont wonna get all my stuff out to cut and find a place to buy the metal from...haha

Buy the rubber on Amazon, cut them yourself. The template is a waste of money. Also, they will help with road grime but as soon as you take it in mud, they're worthless (speaking from experience)

Chrysler body clips from the hardware store work really well. Super tight fit over the stock clips, but if you need to remove them have spares because they'll break

 

So... @mpkramer71 and I did our locker any time and dif breathers today. Then we did my rear brake lines... that was a bitch! We ended up having to replace all of the hard lines in the rear b/c my truck is an asshole... Thanks again Mike I would have been walking to work tomorrow if you hadn't been here to help me!
