I see a lot of 1st and 2nd gen owners are pretty Happy with these seats I've never driven in either so I guess they must of been pretty bad so I can understand were you're coming from. So hope you can Understand we're I'm coming from as I've always driven full-size Trucks so it's basically like you're sitting on a couch lol!! and always had full power so besides forward and reverse like the Tacoma, Power seats have up and down also to get you in that sweet spot. 2 people weather 5'8 or 6'2 aren't built the same, as 2 guy's the same height one can have a shorter torso vs longer, vise versa on leg length, that's why the rear seat Raise mod exist from first gen to second to current for some of us!! I Raised the rear of my seat another inch today and I'm a lot more comfortable now on a 2 hour ride today!! So hope this clears up why some people are fine and why some are not....

You traded a [depreciated] truck, for a smaller truck, to save gas. You're not winning Jeopardy any time soon, bud.

If it was another brand with Crap Depreciation I would agree with you. But I got $29,000 on trade for my Tundra which I only paid $31,000 on my 15 when the 16s were landing on the lot so didn't burn myself to bad ... Bud.

"excellent physical shape" ... no your not. I don't need to even see you to know you are not in 'excellent' shape. Let me clarify... 100m Olympic sprinters are in 'excellent shape'... pro boxers are in 'excellent shape' ... a pro running back is in 'excellent shape' You are at best in slightly above average shape... that's if you train regularly and watch your diet.

Sorry for the rant... but tired of people thinking they are in 'excellent shape' simply because they are not fat or on 20 medications. fuuuuuuuccccckkkkkkkk

Whenever I start feeling bad about being 5'6" I'm gonna come back and reread this thread, then go for a ride in my perfectly fit Tacoma.

Not a truck seat, this truck seat... there's plenty of very comfortable/supportive ones made by other brands, and even other toyota truck seats.

Wasn't there something about wife's comment of better performance from another man, or something along those lines.

I prefer the seats in my 03 WRX but the Taco seats are pretty nice. I have back issues too. Zero problems so far

Do people not test drive vehicles anymore? Or was OP so in a hurry to be cool that he couldn't feel his balls getting crushed during the test drive?

Smitty and I have been sharing pics :anonymous:

This is what he sent me.... He didn't say which one he was. Pretty sure it's either the guy on the left or the right ...... unless he's not telling me something.

In all fairness - a 30 minute test drive is not comparable to sitting in a seat for 8 hours to determine if your balls are going to get crushed. Sometimes after 30 minutes there is not much of an effect.
