Yep yep. But it may be even more crucial for us 2wd to do it than 4wd. 4wd you can Probly get by without airing down so much with the type of offroading we do. Even though they do all the time anyways because they're going through more extreme terrain than we are. Or rock crawling. Which isn't what were really going for. We have to compensate a lil more than they do, to accomplish what they can with ease. Ha.

 

4 wheel drive doesn't unstoppable mean for sure. Sometimes I think if I had a Prerunner I wouldn't do the things I do.

Dang man. So was that an offroading mishap or accident due to snow?

 

It was a, I've been up for the past 72 hours basically and have a goal to accomplish.

I knew where I was going wasn't where I should be. Stupid on my part, live and learn.

 

Well I'm glad help's on the way bro. But I gotta say, Idk how you guys drive in that climate. I was just in Michigan for a week and even though there wasn't much snow, there was still patches of ice here and there, and, yeah, no thanks! Lmao.

 

Give me Snow and Ice and cold temps over Sand and Hot Temperatures and all the creepy crawling things anytime

To the OP all my Vehicles are 4x4 I only use them in 4wd getting in and out of my driveway as far as mileage I don`t think it even makes 1%

okay good to know. living in san diego i am thinking the only reason to have a 4x4 vehicle is for trips to the river and big bear/tahoe. i recently went to tahoe with my friend in his 2012 4x4 4runner limited and it was a breeze.i was initially going to take my truck up there but the two people riding with me flaked and there was extra room in his vehicle. we actually got snowed in but his vehicle ran strong with no problems. we got 19.3 MPG fully loaded with gear in back and boards on top with 5 people in the car. long story short if i need 4x4 im calling my friends haha. here is a pic

 

I found this a few weeks ago. It doesn't go in to specific driving skill/maneuver details but gives a lot of scenarios and outcomes that he put his Prerunner through. Can be a little bit of a "confidence builder" for us in the Prerunner crowd.
