Just got a alignment and the tech didn't even touch the cams! My caster is only 1*! I have tc uppers as well. Am I maxed out for caster ? The camber was almost -2 degrees as well

Unless I'm backwards looking at this, it looks like they could have easily lowered(raised)the camber which would have gained you caster.

Negative 2° of camber is pure shit.

    How much lift?

The tech didn't know wtf he was doing IMO

Your cams are completely fucked up, if I didn't know any better I would say you were trolling. :). it looks like you have your caster as low as possible. To max out caster the rear cam has to be as far outboard as possible. It's also set up for max negative camber with the front cam outboard all the way. Your cams look to be set up to make caster as low as possible.

I wish I was trolling!!! I told him I should be able to get 3* caster and he said "no" he didn't even touch the cams. I was mistaken and thought this cam orientation would give me max caster...either way he should have fixed it

    If that's 1* caster and -1.8 camber...do you think it's possible to get 0 camber 3 caster ??

It looks like if the caster goes up it will get more negative

    That would explain this

Take a pic of both cams on both sides.

The top picture you posted is the front of the rear cam on the passenger side? The second pic is the front of the front cam on the passenger side?

Find a different shop, or raise hell at that one. See where the guys on your local forum take their trucks. I got a worthless alignment (although not nearly as bad as yours) last week after I installed JBA UCAs. I'm taking it somewhere else this coming tuesday.

Camber is relative to the position of caster on these trucks Anthony. Both adjustments are made in unison via the cams. (I'm sure you knew that though) Based on the amount of Caster you currently have which is 1*+ to Camber you have, you should be really positive on Camber. These trucks initially came with 2.5-2.8*+ Caster and about .5*-.7*+ camber. The higher up you go on caster the more into the negative range on camber you go. If you are only at 1* caster and are already into the negative range on camber then either you have something on the suspension which is bent or your frame is bent.

That's what I was afraid of...the only thing I haven't replaced is stock spindles... Shouldn't j be able to adjust the front cam for positive camber though?

    Yes, they absolutely should.

The tech was either lazy or incompetent(or both). I'd either request a refund or a new alignment by a more qualified tech.

But according to him^^ if I go for more caster it will make my camber more negative! Which is exactly what I suspected

Judging by the cams there is plenty of room to get a decent alignment. You're around 3" of lift with aftermarket upper arms. There is no reason to have such a shitty alignment. I can align that truck better in my garage with basic hand tools and a partially functioning brain.

But when I gain more caster won't the cambur turn negative even furthere since the cam will be going the other way ?

Yes, when they move the rear cam to gain caster it will lower camber, BUT you have room to fix that with the front cam.

Unless your shit is bent to hell there is definitely room for a better alignment.

If it were me, I'd adjust the rear cam as far OUT as possible and the front cam as far IN as possible and take it to a shop that has a fucking clue what they're doing.
