airbag resistance?

    TRD SC, UCON, CNG conversion, RC 6" (lifted 4"/3" air suspension) w/FOX 2.5, 315/70R17 Duratracs, RECARO seats, etc.
    Digital one is also not a safe device for measuring airbags. Good luck.

    I assume it should be between 2-3 ohm like in the side airbags.

    The SRS charts in TIS no longer show any measurement of resistance on the pad anymore. You're going to need to rig up resistors and keep cycling the key once the code clears and you find the magical number to solder inline with your camry air bag. Problem then is if the resistor burns up and prevents the air bag from deploying.

    Seen tons of airbags go off, fuck measuring them, I don't care that ohm measurements is just a trickle of electricity. I don't want any chance to have an air bag go off. Plus even if I'm not near it, they are damned expensive!

    The proper way that Toyota wants things diagnosed is through elimination, you intentionally short the airbag squib wire and view what codes are populated. If you get an 1801 (broken spiral cable) or 180# it's something to do with the highest wear item in the system, the spiral cable.
