*Cracks knuckles* Where do I begin?
    Hey all,

On Saturday March 4th I will be going on a road trip in my Toyota Tacoma for the first time. This is my first car, 2015 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner, and we (me and the car) will be going from Waco TX to Oklahoma City to St. Louis all in one day. I've got some business to take care of in OKC (buying a shotgun) which is why I am stopping there. Figured I'd add this to the trip reports, I'll take plenty of pictures and post my itinerary when I plan it out. This week (FEB 27- MAR 3) is midterms for my uni (Baylor) and so come Friday I will update this.

As of now (to give a preliminary assumption to my schedule, as I multitask studying for my biology 2 midterm) I plan on leaving around 4 am here in Waco and arriving in OKC in about 8:30/9 am depending on how bored I get. This is by far the longest road trip I've had to do since moving from Tacoma WA (yes, I lived in the holy city of Tacoma, the birthplace of our beloved Toyota truck).

If you have any suggestions/tips for this long drive, be sure to let me know. Otherwise, I will update once I am finished with midterms.

    Sic 'em.

Wow, I can't believe I made it. Straight A's on all my midterms and I'm feeling great about pre-med so far. midterms-finals-exams-memes-7.jpg
Now about the trip. Saturday I will leave at 4 am, probably get breakfast in Dallas at around 5:30 or so. Then from Dallas I will make it to OKC around 9:30 AM to meet a buddy of mine at SNU. I'll probably leave SNU around 11 ish and make a straight shot to St. Louis with an ETA of 6:30 PM.

    Packing list:
    Clothes
    Gun
    Textbooks
    Good music (CCR & Stones)
    NRA bag

That's pretty much it. By far the longest road trip I've ever planned out to complete solo. Haven't road tripped since my senior year of high school, drove 6 hours from Tacoma to Spokane and boy was that a long drive. My caffeine dosage is wearing off and my brain is realizing that I am not superhuman anymore. Goodnight all, pictures will be posted after my adventure to St. Louis and more photos when I return to Waco.

    I made it.

Safe and sound after hours of fun on the road. I'm one of those people that enjoys the 12 hour road trips of straight driving. I left Baylor at 4:06 AM and arrived to OKC around 8 AM. At Oklahoma City, I met with one of my high school friends and he is playing football for Southern Nazarene University. Small but nice campus (not quite as big as Baylor). After catching up, I left OKC around 11:20 and I was in Tulsa around 12:30ish. Once I left Tulsa (I did not stop in Tulsa) I was able to get to Missouri around 1:30 PM I believe. There is absolutely nothing in Missouri, I mean literately just dirt and road. It took me around 4 1/2 hours to drive across the state (I was averaging around 80 MPH). I hit St. Louis around 6, and arrived to my destination at 6:20 PM. Besides the 3 hour stop in OKC, it took me less that 12 hours to drive from Waco TX to St. Louis.

Overall, I enjoyed my ride because finally I didn't have anymore exams or annoying college students around me. It's a change of pace to leave college and hit the road, which was what I wanted out of this trip. On my way back I might go through Memphis and cut across through part of Louisiana, who knows. I'll probably leave Thursday so I can get back in time and catch up on a little work/ prepare for the hell my professors are preparing to unleash after spring break.

Here are some photos, I'll post some more on my trip back. Thanks all for reading.
