+1. Anyone? Thinking of going this route with my quicksand. Or line-x if not an ARE top.

    Another LEER 100XR. The paint match was spot-on, but I hear that's easier with non-metallic paint.IMG_0328.jpg IMG_0327.jpg IMG_0329.jpg

The LEER 100XR that I have (long bed) was $1635 plus tax. Used one of LEER's on-line coupons which got a free headliner. Sliders on both sides (standard), removable sliding front window, headliner "carpet" on interior (coupon). Make sure you have the installer put a strip of clear protective tape at the top of your tailgate where the rubber from the rear window rests when closed. That prevents abrasion of the paint if there is any window vibration.

Given that the cap in post 1321 has a roof rack, it may be a reinforced cap to take weight on top. Mine isn't.

I paid $2100 for my ARE. He gave me cost on the OTR which was $250. Seemed like a decent deal based on what I have seen people paying.

I paid about $1500 but it's a no frills cap. I put a deposit down then saved up over 2 paychecks. It took them about 3 weeks to get it so it all worked out.

Looking at it again, you're right; they are the same. The black color fooled me and I misinterpreted the window frame to be cap material. I'll edit the post.

Anyone getting the interior carpet wet? I am in the PNW most of them time and driving all around and have noticed that the carpet is wet on the ledge below the windows(sides and font window). That being said it doesn't appear to be a leaky window, thinking more of a poor install on the rails that is causing water to wick up and around on the carpet?

No clue have an apt setup to get this checked out at another branch of the same dealer. Hopefully it is just the foam/gasket was installed incorrectly.

I had a tough time getting my side rails to seal. The plastic top rail caps actually have channels formed into the tops of them that channeled the water into the bed area, exactly at those points that were the carpet was getting wet. Maybe they can change your seal to fix it. I removed the top rail covers, then reinstalled the cap and that eliminated my side leaks.

Here is my truck with a shell and the drawers I built for it. The fridge is a 60 ARB and the slider is a MSA drop slide.

Yeah, I am having them take a look at it this week at their sister shop where I am at. I think it is just leaking at the rails like you said, as it is not wet directly below the window frames. Hopefully putting a new seal on it will fix it.
