I'm getting some info for a coworker of mine. She got a 3" readylift kit put on Saturday and would like a tad bit of a bigger/taller tire. Only thing is she is keeping her stock 17" wheels and does not want to cut/grind/chop anything. What is the biggest size she can go with?

biggest tire size with ANY lift is going to be a 265/75R16 or 265/70R17 (R16 - R17 denoting rim size)

Lift doesnt determine what tire you can fit its the physical space within the wheel well that does.

Some say you can fit a 255/85R16 (255/80R17) without rubbing, but damn its gonna be close.

Those that say a 285/75R16 (285/70R17) fit without rubbing / cutting / trimming / cab mount chop / pinch weld flattening, are straight up lieing to you, and or dont actually wheel their truck to flex it out.

Sweet man. Well they don't have a 265/75/17 so I guess the 70 is what she can go with. What do you think about a 275? Too wide? I think she wants more of a tall look than wide.

Yea I knew I would rub when I got my 285s and I did just on the road lol can't imagine what it'd be like when flexing lol

when i state 265/75R16 or 265/70R17 im denoting the same outer diameter tire. sidewall is taller on the 265/75 to make up for the smaller rim.

    Either way. theres your answer.
