Alabama Meet Up - March 11th

Possibly starting a new job if everything works out. I'm pretty sure I'll have to start working weekends.

well, now that might be a good reason. far enough in to tell where at? working weekends sucks though..

 

Appreciate it! And at Stewart Electric, they will pay for a lot of my certications and possibly some of school. But yeah they work a lot of weekends which will suck but it'll at least get me ahead for a bit. I just hope they let me off for Moab.

 

ouch, yeah you're gonna need off for that lol, but sounds like it might be a sweet gig. I'm going to be pushing for vacation time now that I had to take all of last week...

 

Hopefully, fingers crossed I can. I will be extremely disappointed if I can't. The truck will actually be ready which is mind blowing.

Eh, you can get your foot in the door for relatively cheaper than our trucks. A good entry level bike is around $400-500ish brand new if you find a good dealer. Mind you, they won't have any luxury options. Used they're like half that and you could get more options (not too dissimilar from a car, except they deprecate faster). Hell, if I sold mine today I probably couldn't get more than $150 for it. Whenever my old employer sells off their old MTBs, they'll probably ask in the neighborhood of $300 or less.
