Searched the threads to find where there was a post detailing how to remove the warning stickers off of the visors. Found a thread that asked that question but it eventually morphed into a thread about adding dairy products into the engine.....and never answered the question.

So, I really want to remove this stickers and would like to know how to do it from someone who was successful.

    Thanks

Those stickers are intended obviously to not be removed. As much as they may be a eye sore to you i personally would recommend to leave them be.Although i have never considered trying to remove them i feel like you'll regret it and have ruined visors!Good luck though OP!

Don't try you will fail. If it bugs you that much find or make a sticker to put over them. Pet, Babe, PinUp?

Thanks for the responses. I of course don't want to make them look like crap. Good idea putting a darker sticker over them

I used the hot iron w/steam and a damp cloth. Success! Looks great!

Put a sticker over a sticker that already bothers you? I would think you could try steam removal first. If that fails then put a sticker over it.

    Nope! Looks great!

Try a hair dryer. I was messing with the corner of one of mine and it was coming loose and thought the hair dryer might melt the glue , but I woujldn't do it HOT, just really warm and have the glue come off with the sticker. I really do hate the lousy yellow stickers, too bad they don't put them on and allow us to take them off. After you read them the first time, how many times have you read them since?

Covered the hot plate of the iron with a shop towel, medium heat and steam and it came off with some patience. image.jpg

Careful. I removed the one on the driver's side and did not notice until it was too late that I ripped the fabric out of the seal its tucked in to. Now I need a new visor.
