**OHIO WHEELIN' & MEET-UP THREAD**

The rangers are hardly ever on that land, they usually are a uniformed presence at the actual parks like Atwood and Tappan and what not. However, there was one particular day that a group of us were getting ready to cross on dirt bikes, and a fucking ranger erupted from behind a tree and started screaming at us: "You better not, you better not, you'll get a ticket!". We could have sailed through and been gone, obviously on a bike it's ridiculously easy to get away, but he was nice enough to forewarn us before we broke the law so out of respect we went the other way. And then came back 5 hours later and crossed like 16 times.

 

Got into snow here for the first time in the 11 months we've lived here. We live at sea level so it never actually snows at our house, but right behind our house is the Coastal Mountain Range and there is a cool single lane dirt road that runs along this ridge for 15 miles, through an open range, with sweet ocean views and what not. It goes to 3000 feet, and the snow level is around 1500 feet right now, so I went up this morning to check it out. Pretty awesome driving in snow and looking down and seeing blue sky and the ocean below you.

This has nothing to do with Ohio in any way, shape, or form.

The is enough stuff in eastern/southern Ohio for wheeling, tar hollow, and plenty of camping, we can easily make a weekend out of it.

 

That's about an hour and a half from me. Heard it's nice. Never been tho.

 

Ya agreed, all it takes is someone planning it. I just know I won't be that guy...haha

 

Tar Hollow was cool. Sort of a river there too.

Don't worry, you won't miss it...Probably won't be till spring. Hopefully after our GB stuff comes in.

 

Hopefully it comes before I leave for Florida for 3 weeks..... otherwise you guys will be waiting a little longer lol

5/14 to 5/30 so if it comes like right before you'd have to wait either way so hopefully it comes at least a week before

I would love to bob it and flat bed it but I need the bed and I ordered a bed cap too

 

Got the call that my cap came in today, gotta wait till Sat. Morning for them to put it on.
