Yup those are the ones. I know if you ask the guy I was talking about you'll get a response saying he wants to keep the specifics on the down low and would rather people be original with their retros instead of copying his. To each their own I guess.

lol I think it's funny if you go to his old build he lists the exact components and I can't imagine with that list that it would be all that hard to do from there

Yeah I had asked him about it, and saw others ask with the same response. If you look at his page right above where it lists the retro parts is a note that says "*Be Original* Do not ask me how to make my headlights!". I think he could just be tired of explaining it to everyone. With retros like that I'm sure he got slammed with PMs!

Pelfreybilt rear bumper dropped off at powder coating. That's only like 4 months later.

I know there are several ways to do this but just out of curiosity, how is everybody routing wires into their engine bay? I'm trying to stay away from the exhaust manifold and all that fun/hot stuff. Currently I've got most things curving around and going through the driver wheel well and up into the driver fender. It then curves around and down into the engine bay. This wiring is mainly covering lights, compressor and such coming from the rear/side of the truck. I'm hoping to clean up some wiring and such while I'm home.

This is what's on today's list of shit to get done. Mounting my pelfreybilt rear finally!:goingcrazy:

Doing this by myself was a major PITA. After getting the stock bumper off decided I needed more :muscleflexing: to continue so I had to get creative.

Finally greased the Total chaos UCAs with super lube and damn did it do the trick. No more squeak! Now just need to reinstall the flyzeye and illuminated 4x4 switch before heading off to work for a while.

There's no best answer except to say, down through the engine bay and along the frame to where it needs to go. You can avoid the exhaust easily. Just use lots of zip ties!

Yeah that's what I was figuring. I'm probably just going to keep thing going up the driver fender for now since it's all ready in there and working. Thanks for the response man!

Thanks I had to do the same with the front bumper once the winch and lights went in. Just didn't get any pics of that.

Several other projects ready to get started on once work lets up.

    Reinstall of flyzeye
    Illuminated 4x4 switch
Wet Okole rear cover (1yr in waiting)
CBI Bed Rack ordered and waiting delivery
Surco Urban Rack about to order for rack 45x60
Custom kayak mount/rack extension to get fabbed for rack
Need to install pelfreybilt skid plates

Just added the rubber washers to the front and rear pelfreybilt bumpers to keep shackles from bouncing around. Still need to wire in CB power switch. Also just got the GB 70 jump starter in.

Thanks man! I took out half of them at a time skipping a bolt all the way around to make sure the grill stayed in place and then stuck them into card board and painted with rattle can. I think I used the plasti dip spray.

Awesome thread, just finished plowing through the whole thing. It's great that you know what to try and what to deligate. I could be wrong but it seems to me that your ARB compressor could still be run from the switch pros console by adding a secondary hi current relay. I'll have to see if I can find the cup holders bought for my first truck, those and some tailgate bed wall brackets w/bottle openers and I'll be able to toast you properly. I've a lot more threads to plow through before I try and organize some of the more ambitious mods but those two are easy and stand alone.
