    Excellent news!!

I didn't know how much to tighten it down, but I just kind of snugged it up for lack of better words.
    Extremely!!!

The only thing that was weird was taking off the old 'pre' filter dealy.

Just popped each little clip off simultaneously and a tiny bit of force and that was that!

I tighten the clamp enough so the filter didn't move. I'll be changing it every three years. I kept the old filter so I have it if need be! All my Mods are Documented !

lol! No build thread yet! Thanks for the kind words! I have a simple note book, and keep track of the upgrades and parts being changed out. Also have a File for receipts, and a stack of boxes of all sizes that store the stock parts that were removed that I kept. The truck is three years old now and I'll be changing the Rear Diff Fluid Next! I'm going to stay ahead on the Maintenance schedule. This might be the last New Truck I buy. Thanks!

    Absolutely.

All I really have is all my dealer records for now and my build thread.

When my warranty is up at the end of this year I will really have to start figuring this out.

i also had a mudflap that the paint had started coming coming off of. I bought the white reflective letters for them as well. they looked like new again and the reflective aspect of it is kind of cool too.

Damn, sounds like the evening I had about 2 weeks ago dealing with the same thing... I started taking mine apart and got to the point with the fan control when the little spring fell out and I panicked and decided it was best not to fuck around with stuff I shouldn't be and put it all back together.

Same issue with those little little t4 LED replacement bulbs. I even tried trimming one with an x-acto knife but only succeeded in breaking the flimsy wires connected to the back of the PCB the LEDs are mounted to.
Got pretty pissed off. I think I ruined 2 out of the 6 bulbs I got. I really want to get rid of them to see if it makes my knobs more "white" because they look very yellow and I know it's because of the incandescent bulb color more than anything.

I may take a crack at messing with the bulbs again to see if I can get them to fit without ruining them. I like the new knobs but one of the bulbs still isn't working (OEM ones, not LED replacement) and I really don't like the "amber" color in the acrylic rings. Kids are at their mother's tonight and the girlfriend didn't feeling like hanging out so I guess it's beer + mod time tonight!

Haha, me too. Uni-filter last week...... and the knobs came today. I have to say that out of all the mods so far, the knobs were the easiest and most gratifying mods so far. They even light up..... damn

Secondary air injection. original filter breaks down and causes issues. UNI filter = Better
