Both the needle bearing and bushing are a mild friction fit. I'm sure you can pull the bushing out with the same technique. However it probably gets wrecked from the removal process

I wonder if you can get the tool behind the bushing same as the bearing.

I don't have any noise yet, but the driver's side CV is loose as hell. I'm going to buy the ECGS part but I wonder if this will help my steering vibration as well. It happens at around 60-70mph but not always, so I doubt it's a tire balance issue.

Is anyone getting the vibration from the front at certain speeds only and it's fine otherwise? I've had slight vibes forever but I just brought the front up 2" to level it and I can feel a new one between 35-40MPH and it's the worst at 38MPH. Can feel the womp womp womp in the gas pedel. Any other speeds it's fine and it does go away when I put it in 4WD.

I'm going to try for the TSB first, I brought the truck in to the dealer when it had 55K on it and they said the vibes and lose CV were normal. Going straight through Toyota corporate this time. If that fails i'll do the ECGS bushing.

I spoke with Toyota corporate just a minute ago and they want me to bring it back to the dealer who told me "normal" and let them have another look. I know for a fact the first time I brought it to them they didn't even drive it. I'll post back on how it turns out, for reference i'm at 71,000 on a 2013.

I had to take them on a ride along to get it done. In and out of 4wd. They also didn't want to do it because of the lift. But they did it, and then were like damn that was the issue lol
