I may have a problem. What am I going to do?

Some of you may know that I got a busted windshield in mid January that was replaced by Safellite a few weeks ago. You also may know that they fucked up my truck to the total of about 4,000$.
Well, Safelite is making good and paying to have my truck fixed. They are also paying for a rental for me while mine is being repaired.
And this is where the problem is.
This is my rental.


It is a 2017 built in October of 2016, and mine is a 2017 built in November of 2016. This has less than 2000 miles more than mine has. This truck ticks off every thing I wanted except color, but since I got mine I have been liking the tan color better and better.
It has, that mine doesn't have, besides the obvious differences between off road and sport, dual zone climate control, heated seats, sunroof, and the roof rack rails.
Mine has a tonneau cover which I could give a shit about one way or the other, when I get a rack and RTT and it will have to go anyway, and that gay little step at the back, which I wound up liking.
Oh ya, mine has mudflaps
I think I like this truck better.
What am I gonna do?

Pack up your favorite belongings, cancel your credit cards, head for Mexico in the rental truck and change your name.

Have Safellite fix the window?

 

Yep, just don't give the rental back.. Tell Safelite it's all their fault you fell in love with another truck after they banged yours ~up. Let them figure it out.

Seriously, you're going to take a financial loss to have essentially the same truck. TW logic at its finest. So when the 18 comes out with power seats, safety sense, standard TRD PRO grille, trade for that too? I know its hard to resist but sense man.

 

She doesn't have to go with you to Mexico.
