might be a stupid question, but I'm looking to put a couple halogen lights (Hella or KC) behind my plastic grill off ebay and I was wondering if I should be worried about heat issues when the lights are on if they are mounted close behind the grill?

Hey I see you used a spacer, is that to avoid relocating the horn? Also, can you notice if the light shakes/vibrates much?

The spacer that connects to the hood latch support is there just to stiffen up the bracket. The light doesn't move (I've actually switched my light setup since this post)

Changed out the bar to 2 round lights. Need to adjust the bar because they are a little low

I really like how you mounted from the bottom to the supports using those u-bolts. How stable is it? I bought all the parts to mount lights using your technique but I am mounting 2- 7" round led spot lights. No doubt a bit heavier than your light bar and I am concerned about the lights bouncing.

How well does the light go through your grill?

PRETTY well. It does filter out some of it as one would assume, but not as much ad I expected.
