6 inch Douche Bag lift...what else do I need?
If you want to see one option for a 6 inch lift, check my build thread. I don't have any drive train issues or vibes and off road I can get after it. I got help from a few people on TW and a lot of internet snooping....and MEASURING! Take lots of measurements. Write everything down. Drink lots of beer.

Bad ass man, your truck looks good. What brand did you go with for the lift? And yeah I'll make sure I got plenty of beer haha.

The only thing left from the original Pro Comp 6" lift is the Pro Comp drop brackets and spindles.

Hey everyone, found out some more info on the 6inch pro comp lift. They say there are no drive train issues with that setup especially if you let someone do it for you. Also re gearing is not essential, it may help with putting 35s but it won't effect much, on the same note putting 33s we will likely not see if a difference if you re gear or not. However on another note... anyone know if people are upgrading there brake rotors to larger ones to componsate for the larger tires?

You wont need larger rotors. I'm not even sure they make a larger rotor that would work without causing issues.

I wouldn't consider a 33" a "large" tire. wouldn't need larger brakes, as the truck is too slow anyway.

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
Looks good, I like the wheel on the ruler method to measure, I might have to try that when I trim mine soon. How did you end up doing the actual cutting?

It wasn't me that did the cutting. It was actually @la0d0g so hopefully he can answer your questions.

Dremel for the easy spots since I'm more proficient with that tool than others. Body chop saw for the areas by the cab mount.
