I loved mine - bought it for $500, got twoish years of use out of it, sold it for $400. Never figured out who manufactured it - there wasn't any branding anywhere.

@Dalandser love the set up - nice and simple. That looks like the lifetime base model. They hardly brand any of their stuff but they make a good product, from my research they make 3 models.

    1) Base Aluminum Model
    2) Super Sport Camper
    3) Workmate - more of a commercial shell

@Pjf1119 How much was your Lifetime camper shell? Couldn't find any prices on their website. Thanks!

Having a heck of a time finding a used aluminum camper shell for my DCSB here in Southern California. Any leads greatly appreciated. Really want window all around like @Dalandser 's. And the built in racks.
    Thank you!

Yeah most of them I see have the tool door on one side and the window on the passenger side. This is a good setup since the driver's side is just one big blind spot that you have to look out of your cab window to avoid anyway, but it's not what you want, so I'll keep an eye out. Now that I have a fiberglass camper I can say that I prefer the aluminum one for it being lightweight - I can notice the added body roll on my recall springs with the fiberglass shell much more than the aluminum shell. The only thing the fiberglass one does better is seal out water, but if I really wanted to, I'm sure I could have made the aluminum one pretty darn watertight.

Thanks for looking out @Dalandser , I appreciate it. Yep, I'm all about keeping it lightweight, probably because I'm an ultra-light backpacker. Better mpgs, plus I like the look of the aluminum shells. The search continues...

Yeah I wish you were in CA still so I could see that shell. I'd probably have a hard time not buying it since it is color matched for the MGM.

I’ve had an ARE DCU and a snug top fiberglass shell with the “windoors” on the side. In my opinion I would only own a shell with windoors due to the ability to access the bed from the sides. I like the aluminum contractor shell look and function better than the fiberglass, but I’ve heard the aluminum shells fatigue over time.

Tradesman has an upgrade for heavy off-road use.
